My name is Lena
and my husbands name is Kent.
We live in a blue house in a small village 10 kilometers north of
Skellefteå in the northern part of Sweden near the coust line.
In December 2005
we got our breeders
name S*Mira Milaia approved.
The meaning of this breeders name is
something like Calm sweetheart.
I also love stars and I liked the fact that the brightest
twinkling star at the sky is named Mira.

This photo is taken
at midnight in the summer..
Light and bright all night long.. Just wonderful !

I am retired from work because of my health so I
have almost all the time in the world to
myself..
Our two childrens, one daughter and one son,
are now living in their own homes.
Earlier we had dogs in our family but it was
to much work for me so I decided to look for a
cat to keep me company instead.
After some search on the Internet I found the
Siberian cat and fell in love with the look.
It was also a rather new breed here in
Sweden so that was also one of the reasons
why I took contact with a breeder of this type of cat.
At spring 2002 the breeder of S*Tallkatten had plans to import a cat
and
we decided to do it together. My highest wish was to have a
red female cat and guess if I was glad when we found
one new born red kitten in Germany..
Our "Basra von der Sannoschka", or Cleo
as we called her.
In the beginning
S*Tallkatten was the owner of Cleo,
and I had her in my care
as a fosterhome.
Cleo has always lived with us in our care from start,
and she also had her two first litter at our home.
I don't know if this is common in
other countries but here i'ts rather common to do like this,
and to have a cat in a fosterhome..
After the two litters the ownership of Cleo went to me.
Cleo have of course always felt like our cat and beside the
daily care we also hade the opportunity to take part
in most of the plans around Cleo
like the matings and talking to and
have the contact to the new owners of the kittens.
All thanks to Tallkatten that became a really good friend to us.
In Marsh 2005 when her second litter was placed to
their nwe owner Cleo was at last our own cat.
Not so different than before
but it feels nice to know that we have done a great
job rasing eight cute kittens during our time that
we took care of Cleo for Monica at S*Tallkatten
We have had our
first owh litter and
are planning for the future and our small breeding in our home.
Our second cat
Inessa, arrived to our family after
a long search. I found her at Nikopeja´s and
she is adorable. The energetic silver girl,
"Nikopejas Inessa Kasianovna"
brought a lot of
laughter to our house with her practical jokes and
energy, when she moved to
us autumn 2006
In Inessas first
big litter of seven kittens born
before Christmas 2007, I fell in love with a
female kitten, Ninka
She is our third cat and the first of our own breeding
to stay with us.
Inessa got very
protecting and guarded
her daughter Ninka more than she needed.
When a family with allergy wanted to try to live
with an older neutered cat, Inessa moved
there and now she is theirs. She lives in their home
as a queen and I am so greateful to them
for taking care for my silver princess in such a loving way.
My first siberian, Cleo is now to be retired.
We are keeping one female kitten from her last litter
to stay with us in our family.
From this daughter we hope to find some of Cleos lovely
personality and hopefully some of the joy her mother
are giving us, as company
but also as a good mother to her future litters.
Thats why S*Mira Milaia Myrra Odoline is staying
with us and we hope kitten Myrra will be a great company to
us and the other cats in our home.
From Ninkas first
and only litter we kept
cute S*Mira Milaia Kirara.
She is the sweetest girl and with a lot of energy
and full of love towards everyone.
She is also a dear family member but I hope she could
give some of her good genes to some future kittens.
Our Ninka didn´t like all the cats around her and
wanted me for her own.
I was lucky to have a friend who wanted a
cat of her own. Now since springtime 2011,
Ninka lives in Christinas home in town,
as an only cat and have the best home.
I am so happy for them and can
visit my sweetie often.
It is not an easy
decision to move a beloved family member,
and absolutely nothing that I plan to do
when I bring a new cat to my home.
When it shows that they are not doing well in
the group of people and animals,
it´s worth to try and look for a new home,
for their sak even if it hurts inside of us humans.
I'm glad I found good homes for both Ninka
and earlier, for her mother Inessa.
Our cats lives with us in our home
as loved pets and as indoor cats and do not live in cages.
That´s also how our kittens are raised.
Our cats have now a big outdoor cage for them to
go out to if they want to, and they love it.
The door out to the outside cage is always open so they can
decide for themself if they want to be inside or out.
I can keep an eye on them or join them directly from
my study /kitten room where I spend a lot of my time.
Our cats are adored
and loved family members and give me
so much joy every day.
My wish with my small cattery, is to share some
of this Siberian cat love to you.

This is how happy
you can look, waiting for our first Siberian,
or maybe it's just becase we were on vaccation in Thailand..
Welcome to us
